SIAW 2024 Welcome Reception Highlights
The SIAW 2024 Welcome Reception was an exclusive, invite-only networking event that launched Singapore International Agri-Food Week 2024. Held on 18 November at Monti at 1-Pavilion, the reception was officiated by Mr. Gan Kim Yong, Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry, and hosted over 300 distinguished guests, including policymakers, senior executives, investors, and global innovators in the agri-food sector.
Centred around the theme Scaling Innovation in Asia’s Agri-food Systems, the event facilitated discussions and collaborations aimed at advancing agri-food technology in the region. Co-hosted by the Singapore Food Agency and Temasek, along with organising partners Enterprise Singapore, the Singapore Tourism Board, the Agency for Science, Technology and Research, and the Singapore Economic Development Board, as well as event partners Constellar and Rethink Events, the SIAW 2024 Welcome Reception set the tone for a week of meaningful exchanges, events, and partnerships.
